to say la kajira or le kajirus, to follow and serve you need to know how to be, and what is expected. This is not a complete list, just a few important basics, your Master and/or family will have their own to add.

Obedience, Honesty, Honour, Loyalty, Respect

Obedience… is required. When an instruction is given, it is not the time to negotiate, no discussion. Hesitation to follow instructions immediately will be met with punishment. Obey ALL commands given to you by your Master, He commands well within His rights.

Honesty… with all, no matter of that person’s caste or status at all times. If you have done something that you know your Master will not be pleased about nor has any knowledge of, the best thing you can do is to come clean about it, with truth and honesty. By doing so, and importantly, you protect the integrity and trust in the relationship. Don’t be afraid to share your needs, health concerns, everything. Lying or being less than honest will only lead to problems.

Honour… All your actions reflect on your Master and/or the family. Your honour is the only thing you own. At all times you should defend and protect the family reputation. This means you should always show your training and place within the family and Gor

Loyalty… faithful adherence to your Master, be prepared to defend Him with your life. Remember your name reflects your devotion to your Master and/or your family. And loyalty to your submission, faithful to your commitments and your obligations.

Respect … Respect EVERYONE no matter His/her caste, rank or if you like that person or not. Respect is MANDATORY. It is considered disrespectful to turn your back on a Master and girls should never cross in front of the path of a Master; she should walk behind Him.

Master has been an absolute diamond during girls illness, he had to take off girls collar, as at the hospital, this one was fighting the nurses who tried to touch it, this one has no recollection of this happening being very poorly, Master had to calm her and unlock the collar, allowing the staff to then do what they needed, 

happy to say it is now back on and securely locked, the collar symbolises many things to different people, for Master it shows him this one is his, it means more than any wedding ring, Master has given this one leave of her duties as at present she isn’t able to do a lot, and there was concerns ,  being unable to complete duties, if Master would want to take on a new first girl, or should girl maybe run, Master is content waiting for this one to recover fully, which is a great relief and is happier knowing that his girl wont run, smiles to self, not that its possible to run anywhere at present, and girl wouldn’t anyway, it wouldn’t be worth the punishment, giggles, Master has shown his self to be a wonderful man and this girl is very lucky to be owned by him

in brief, the Gorean lifestyle is based upon a philosophy and set of tenets, which sprung out of a series of 30 or so books written by John Frederick Lange, Jr., who is a professor of philosophy , and whose pen name was John Norman .

Devotion

this girls ardent, selfless affection and dedication, to Master, what it means to be an owned kajira . it has been a while since girl wrote on her being and of Gorean ways, it is twelve months since Master and this one met, it has been a wonderful and sometimes testing and trying time, and with an open and honest heart, this one gives her perspective.

 

Willingly and freely surrendered her totality of being to Master.

By submitting to a Master you are put before him for consideration or approval. However, owned kajira not only submit, they must also surrender. Owned kajira willingly and freely give up all choice and decisions by accepting their Master.
